Spring

The weather has returned to spring appropriate temperancy, so yesterday Pascal, Aetheline and I ventured off for a hike. We scaled rock outcroppings and walked up huge boulders, explored wooded glades and investigated interesting plants, startled a beaver and hung out by the water.

This carrier has held over a dozen different babies over the last 40 years. Aetheline approves.

Pascal enjoyed taking paths under and through trees that I couldn't easily follow.

I still don't know what this plant is. The leaves were fuzzy.

"Ha ha, look Mama, the trees in the water are wriggly!"

I told him that we could dangle our feet in the water in the summer. He didn't want to wait.

 After our walk, we decided to make banana muffins. A good morning, all in all!
