Summer weather is here, and the boys had a long weekend and I didn't have any projects, so we made the most of it. We had visitors on Friday--first my parents came by with my younger brother, and after they left, my older brother, his wife, and son came for dinner.
After dinner, we hung out on our little deck, blowing bubbles for Pascal and his best buddy/cousin Daniel, who were waiting down below.
Saturday was a lazy day--we had pancakes, went to the library, and took it easy all afternoon. Today, though, we decided to hit the beach after mass.
Our town has a nice little beach down by the marina, with a fairly new playset and splash pad. The water was pretty cold, but the day was sunny and beautiful!
There were a lot of other families there, so the kids had plenty of playmates (and other kid's toys) to entertain them. Aetheline was excited to see a friend from the babysitter's. Everyone had fun with the splash pad.
Now we're home again, a little sandier and redder, and looking forward to months of sun. :-)
